NEW PROJECT AT LIVERPOOL INSTITUTE FOR PERFORMING ARTS (LIPA)

RED are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the structural glazing package at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), working on behalf of Aztec Interiors Ltd.

RED will be enclosing an existing courtyard using a Pilkington PlanarTM structurally glazed rooflight, this will create additional performance space at the institute and allow for lots of natural light within the space. The design has been a collaborative approach between RED, the Main Contractor, the architect and the structural engineer. RED were able to produce a solution which allowed for the original roof structure to be completely value engineered and realise a saving within other sub-contract packages.

LIPA was co-founded by lead patron, Sir Paul McCartney, and Mark Featherstone-Witty. The Institute also counts numerous high profile names among its list of patrons, including Sir Richard Branson and Dame Judi Dench.

RED are very pleased to be working on this fantastic project and helping to enhance the learning environment for many people within our local community.
